I am so excited to announce my new lifestyle segment: ExquisitelyErica!! In addition to us living a luxurious life and engaging in great conversations, I also enjoy smelling great and being in spaces that makes me feel luxurious as well. It all adds to the experiences we create with ourselves and share with others. I had this idea in mind since earlier this year, and wasn't sure exactly how I wanted to launch, but continued to record everything I enjoy. From doing that, I stored more than 70 different videos that was ready to be shared with the world, but still was not sure with how the presentation was going to be.As you may know, I take my work and what I put out there very seriously, the idea of just "doing it," doesn't fully work for me. I wanted to think about how I wanted this to feel, the content I wanted to discuss, the colors and etc. With the saying "everything happens for a reason," it really does because I feel so good about how the content is looking! I decided to launch at a time where I had more clarity and was creatively confident. I can say that I am proud of it, the way it looks and feels, and that I can finally share it with you!

During the time I was deeply depressed, what really aided in my excitement to resume back to myself was lifestyle content. There was a time where I wasn't speaking to anyone, not going out, eating, getting dressed, not taking care of my skin and etc. What ignited me to remember what I loved, was watching lifestyle videos about cleaning, fragrances, skincare routines, getting dressed, and getting back on track. Although, I was still in a deep funk, I was inspired to eventually get up based on these videos that was educational, entertaining and luxurious. It helped me tremendously and because this is what I love naturally, I wanted to create my own experience for people to enjoy. I wanted to create lifestyle content that may help someone else who is also struggling to get back up. Once I decided that this was lane that I wanted to go into, that is when I started recording all the things I did and loved. I was finally living life in color, and wanted to add this experience in conjunction with Savethegoodgirl.

It was important that I created ExqusistelyErica separate from the Savethegoodgirl platform! Could I have kept it altogether? Sure, but I felt like it would be bit confusing for my audience. Having deep conversations and then posting how to make pickled onions lol (which I will post by the way!).Savethegoodgirl is here to stay boo! This will be another platform married to STGG as it really has the same mission and theme! When it was time to think of a name, I thought of the word exquisite and what it meant: extremely beautiful, well crafted, well made, well executed. It was perfect because that is the type of content I plan on putting out there! I fell in love with the name and concept, it all is aligned with us living luxuriously! This is fun, exciting, fresh, resourceful and inspiring. Currently I will be sharing the lifestyle videos on Instagram and TikTok!
