Ahhhhh it's been some timeeee and we have so much to discuss! So happy to be back!
Wow it's been almost 3 years since I have last posted and recorded an episode for STGG! 2020....whew! What a year that was universally insane for us all. It was a time that was scary, unpredictable and challenged us mentally, emotionally, physically and financially. A time where the world literally stopped and unfortunately so did I.
When I started STGG, I was so excited and nervous at the same time, but more on the excitement side because this was something that I have been thinking about for years. I knew that working a 9-5 truly didn't fulfill me and I wanted to expand more, but was still struggling with what exactly I wanted to do. I just knew I didn't feel right. With the help of so many people who encouraged me, I finally found the strength to start, and genuinely, it felt great.
Even in the midst of my pain, I still find joy when I see others thrive and moving towards progress and healing, but it wasn't enough to have me come back. I was in a space where I was a stranger to myself, I didn't know the woman who was in front me, and I didn't know if I would ever recognize her again.
I experienced something that completely shattered me, and in that moment I didn't see a way out or how I would even speak again. My joy for the future was dim and I was in deep confusion with everything.
I truly lost myself, my voice and hope. I wanted to really talk about what happened in detail and really felt like what I had to say can really encourage someone else. In my latest episode, I will detail:
What happened that kept me away
What I have been up to
And ultimately what led me back after deep pain and heartache
I also will detail the meaning of what "Ta-Da" means to me and the big KICK it gave me to return
I want to thank you for your support, listening, reading and being apart of the STGG community. It was my duty to come back and let you know what was going on!
The latest episode that will be released on April 3, is my bonus update episode. STGG will fully return on June 19th! This was the same date I released in 2020. The reason for this is because it allows me time to work on releasing quality content for you.
In addition to the "Ta-Da" episode, I will release an episode this Friday as well as affirmations on Sunday!
