I Swear By This Red Lip!
Here is the thing, Ruby Woo by MAC was my favorite red lippie for awhile! Until I needed something that was long lasting, and hunny it was not cutting it! After a while, the lipstick would end up making my lips so dry that it would start chaffing, and would create patches. Yuck! I wanted to know that I could eat, drink and talk without worrying about my lips looking crazy! I did not want to worry about constantly re-touching my lips or worry about dryness. Finally, I went to Sephora and told an associate my concerns. She highly suggested the Too Faced Melted Matte Collection ,and that is when I met my match!
Long Lasting
I literally have not worn any red lip since I was introduced to Too Faced, Lady Balls (Sephora $21.00)! One of the concerns I had was dry lips, after an extended wear. With having avocado oil and vitamin E as a key ingredients, that worry was gone! Adding this to the formula ensures the smooth and moisturizing feel. On their website they stated that it can last up to 8 hours. However my experience with this lipstick lasted well past 8 hours! I think the longest I had this on, without one touch up, was about 12 hours. Another great thing is the design of the applicator. It outlines and fills the lip perfectly. Less work to apply, and last all day?! Yes!
Highly Pigmented
When I was searching for a bright red, it was important that the color was pigmented. I tried a couple of reds that was really dull in color. The swatch here does not do the color justice when applied. The color is beautiful, vibrant, and can be worn for any occasion. It is very rich and doesn't streak at all. I wanted to have a universal red color that I can wear anytime, from work or going to brunch. The vibrancy makes the color stand out so much that it can make your whole outfit! If you are looking for a bright beautiful red that can be worn for any occasion, this is the one!
She Has Friends!
Since I loved this red so much, I wondered what else they had in their collection. I wanted to try other colors, but it was hard to pick just one! They have over 30 shades of colors, and always adding new ones! I landed on a beautiful burgundy lip from them called Drop Dead Red, another staple color I am sold on!
